About this Event
Event Description:
Connect directly with regional mining operations at the Thunder Bay Mining Connections: Reverse Expo, hosted by the Thunder Bay Community Economic Development Commission (CEDC). This unique event gives suppliers and service providers the chance to learn how to get on mine supplier lists and discover current and future operational needs in Northwestern Ontario.
How It Works:
- Apply online and indicate your top products or services.
- Based on mine interests and needs, selected participants will be paired with active mining operations for B2B session engagement.
- All are welcome to attend mine presentations, networking and partner tables, even if not selected for the B2B session.
- B2B session space is very limited and not guaranteed — selection is based on mine requirements, and participation in past events. Selected participants will be notified directly by CEDC staff by 4 pm on Friday, October 26
- This event is open to Thunder Bay businesses only.
- Community partner booths will also be present to help with business supports and incentives; including NOHFC, FedNor, Confederation College, Lakehead University, the Port of Thunder Bay, NORCAT, MineConnect, Thunder Bay Chamber of Commerce, and others!
