The production, set in 1994, feels like a Classic Ghostbusters film from beginning to end and follows the Ghostbusters as they take a road trip to Tulsa, Oklahoma to shut a mysterious box that’s attracting ghosts from everywhere and threatening the town. The production has nods to many of the Ghostbusters films, and includes a special cameo by actor William Atherton, who played Walter Peck in the Ghostbusters film series, but plays an original character in this film.
