After months of building relationships, connecting organizations, listening to our community, and laying the groundwork for change, we are officially launching Thrive Iowa of Buena Vista County.Join us Monday, October 19 at 10:00 AM at Buena Vista University for a launch that is about more than introducing a new program. It’s about bringing people together who believe we can do better when we work together.
Whether you represent an organization, business, school, healthcare provider, faith community, nonprofit, or local government, or you’re simply someone who cares about families and wants to see positive change in Buena Vista County, you are invited.
Our launch will feature:
✨ Welcome and opening remarks from Mayor Meg McKeon
✨ A “Why Thrive? Why Now?” conversation with community and state leaders
✨ A keynote from former Juvenile Court Judge Mary Timko
✨ Insights from Restore Hope Director Paul Chapman
✨ A call to action for our community
✨ The signing of our Declaration of Participation
This is an opportunity to learn what Thrive Iowa is, why it matters, and how you can be part of a community-wide effort to create meaningful, lasting change.
Because collective impact doesn’t happen because of one organization or one person. It happens when all of us bring what we have to the table and work toward something bigger together.
If you’ve been looking for a way to be part of positive change in Buena Vista County, this is your invitation.
