CLOSETS FOR A CAUSE IS BACK... WITH A FEW EXTRA PAWS. 🐾After the incredible support for our first Closets for a Cause, we knew we had to do it again.
Why is a mental health nonprofit teaming up with an animal rescue? Honestly, it makes more sense than you’d think.
Closets for a Cause supports people affected by mental illness. The Rescue Project helps animals who’ve been abandoned, neglected, or just need someone in their corner. The missions look different on paper, but they come from the same place: nobody should have to go it alone.
And we don’t think anyone should have to pick which cause is more important. Our community is stronger when we show up for each other, even when it’s outside our usual circles.
So we’re putting it all under one roof: secondhand shopping, mental health advocacy, animal rescue, puppies, kittens, and probably a little chaos.
Maybe you’re coming for the thrifting. Maybe mental health has touched your life or someone you love. Maybe you just can’t resist a puppy. Whatever gets you in the door, you’ll be helping two local nonprofits keep doing the work for people and animals right here at home.
