Thrift & Thrive brings women together for a unique experience that combines the fun of thrift shopping with meaningful conversations about breast cancer awareness. From exclusive shopping discounts and free transportation to a wonderful luncheon and inspiring survivor stories, we have an amazing day planned.
Here’s How the Day Will Flow
9:00 AM | Meet, Mingle & Get Ready
Our day begins at Polowana Backwoods Kitchen. Arrive at 9:00 AM to check in, meet the other ladies, mingle, and get ready for our thrifting adventure.
10:00 AM | Let the Thrifting Begin! 🛍️
At 10:00 AM, our FREE shuttle vans will depart from Polowana Backwoods Kitchen and take us on our thrift crawl.
We’ll visit a selection of thrift stores that have partnered with us to provide special discounts exclusively for our group of fashionable and amazing ladies! Hunt for hidden gems, discover fabulous finds, show off your personal style, and enjoy plenty of laughs along the way.
After the Thrift Crawl | Return for Lunch & Conversation 🎀
Once our shopping adventure is complete, the shuttle vans will bring everyone back to Polowana Backwoods Kitchen, where we'll gather for a wonderful luncheon.
This is where the heart of Thrift & Thrive comes together. Over lunch, we'll have helpful and meaningful conversations about breast cancer awareness, prevention, early detection, support, and survivorship. We'll also hear heartfelt and inspiring stories from local breast cancer survivors, giving us an opportunity to listen, learn, connect, and celebrate strength.
A Few Things to Know
Transportation is FREE, and there is no cost to attend the event. Guests should bring their own money for thrift-store purchases and come ready for a fun day of shopping and fellowship.
Donations are welcomed and will help support our breast cancer awareness initiatives.
