To celebrate the launch of Rebecca Yarros' new book, Threshing Day, we will be celebrating all things Fourth Wing with activities, decorations and student discounts!
If you come along to this event, you can expect:
🏷️ 10% off EVERYTHING in the shop for students (you must have a valid student ID)
🔥 Life-size cardboard cut-outs of our shadow daddy, Xaden, for you to take photos with (Shout out to the artist who drew this Xaden for our event, )
📣 We will be GIVING AWAY TWO life-size Xaden cardboard cut-outs!! You must be a student in Oxford to enter, and all you have to do is post a reel or TikTok of him in the shop between 29 Sep - 10 Oct, and the two winners for most creative / funny video will get to take him home!
✏️ Pop-up doodle booth on launch day by , who will "draw your dragon" based on your vibe! For £6, this is cutest souvenir ever 💕
🎨 LIVE painting inside on launch day by the incredible artist, . She will be painting a Fourth Wing inspired dragon painting and you can see her in action inside the shop, with dragon prints and bookmarks available for purchase
📚 Threshing Day special edition books (available for pre-order on the website now!) Please note we are unsure when the USA edition of Threshing Day will arrive as it is being sent directly from the US. But we will definitely have the available on launch day!

QUEUING & TICKETS
The free time slot tickets help to even out the queue so it is no longer than an hour. If people arrive before their slot, then the wait time will be longer and cause a backlog.
ACCESSABILITY & VENUE DETAILS
If you have sensory needs, please send an email to [email protected] and we will be able to offer a quiet shopping time on a weekday morning at 11:30am. Please email in advance to arrange a date and time that will work during the THRESHERS WEEK event. Music is off, noise is kept to a minimum and there will be no crowds. If you have any physical disabilities that make queueing difficult, you NEVER NEED TO QUEUE. Your experience is different to able bodied people, please do not feel embarrassed about skipping the queue and coming straight to the front. There will always be a BGB team member there who will escort you inside.
The shop is fully wheelchair accessible. The front gift shop room is accessible via the main front doors, and the second bookshop room is accessible via a side door and ramp.
