A night of hard-rocking tributes from the ’90s and beyond is coming to the Seahorse Tavern on Saturday, October 17, and it’s shaping up to be one of the loudest singalongs Halifax has seen all year. Headlining the night is Threezer, Halifax’s unstoppable Weezer tribute that has built a reputation for sold-out shows, packed rooms, and crowds screaming every word. Joining them are Fake Plastic Band, the Radiohead tribute Threezer fans have been begging to see return to the stage. For years they’ve been the most requested act by the Threezer faithful--and this October, those prayers have finally been answered.The lineup gets even bigger with a special appearance from Slirvana, Eastern Canada’s celebrated Nirvana tribute, recreating the look, sound, and spirit of the grunge legends with uncanny intensity. After 15 years of crushing stages across the Maritimes, this marks Slirvana’s first-ever Halifax performance, making this a rare chance to experience one of the region’s premier tribute acts live. Expect wall-to-wall anthems from Weezer, Radiohead, and Nirvana, massive crowd energy, and a full night of nostalgia-fueled chaos.
