What do you say before taking a photo?
In Korea, you might hear kimchi. In Mexico, whiskey. In Iran, síb (سیب). In China, qié zi (茄子). And, of course, cheese everywhere.
The two food residents at NOR, Ya (@cher.ya.317) and Samereh (@lakucooks), will join forces for an evening of food, revolving around this cultural and linguistic phenomenon.
Inspired by the words we say before taking a photo in our two cultures — China and Iran — we’ll present a four-course dinner that brings two food cultures together around one table, and creates an interactive dining experience.
4 courses + welcome drink, created especially for this evening.
