Journey through more than two centuries of musical brilliance with Three Bs, a program celebrating the enduring legacy of Johann Sebastian Bach, Ludwig van Beethoven, and Johannes Brahms. From Bach's elegant Two-Part Inventions to Beethoven's youthful Piano Trio in E-flat Major and Brahms' passionate Piano Trio No. 3 in C Minor, this program traces the evolution of chamber music through three of history's most influential composers.
Rich in contrast, lyricism, and emotional depth, Three Bs highlights the unique voice of each composer while revealing the connections that continue to inspire performers and audiences alike.
Arrive early for a pre-concert talk by Dr. Terry McQuilkin at 2:15 p.m. on Sunday and 6:45 p.m. on Monday. His engaging presentations offer fascinating insights into the composers, the historical context, and the music you'll hear, making each performance even more rewarding.
After the concert, continue the evening with a complimentary dessert reception on the stage. Meet the musicians, connect with fellow concertgoers, and enjoy the unique opportunity to celebrate the music.
To further Chamber Music Amici's mission of inspiring the next generation of music lovers, we warmly encourage students and families to experience live chamber music together. Our concerts are thoughtfully designed to be welcoming and accessible, lasting approximately one hour with no intermission, making them an enjoyable introduction for first-time concertgoers while remaining deeply rewarding for seasoned audiences.
To help ensure that cost is never a barrier to experiencing exceptional live music, Chamber Music Amici proudly offers $5 tickets for students and their parents. We believe everyone should have the opportunity to discover the beauty, inspiration, and connection that live chamber music brings to our community.
