We’ve officially launched THREADS OF RENEWAL — a cross-cultural fashion show produced by Barakah Beauty Collective.🗓 September 20, 2026
📍 Meydenbauer Theater, Bellevue, WA
This initiative sits at the intersection of:
• Sustainable textile reuse
• Modest and cross-cultural fashion
• Community-based economic development
Over the past several months, we’ve collected thousands of pounds of clothing and textiles through grassroots efforts. These materials are now being reimagined into new designs that will be featured on the runway.
We are currently building out the ecosystem around this event and are seeking:
🔹 Designers (with a focus on upcycling, sustainability, and cultural expression)
🔹 Vendors (aligned brands in fashion, beauty, and lifestyle)
🔹 Textile donations (to support ongoing design and production)
Additionally, we are actively looking for:
🔹 Corporate sponsors
🔹 Community and institutional partners
This is an opportunity to align with a project that brings together sustainability, cultural storytelling, and inclusive economic participation.
