About this Event
The place we love. The future we choose.
We love living in Utah. The mountains, the snow, the Great Salt Lake, and the communities we've built here. But with a changing climate, a shrinking lake, and unpredictable winters, what does the future of Salt Lake City look like?
And more importantly, what can we do to keep this an incredible place to live, work, and play for generations to come?
Join Salt Town Realty for an evening of real science, honest conversation, and practical optimism. We'll explore what's happening to our climate, our lake, and our local housing market—and meet some of the people working toward solutions.
Meet the speakers
- Peter Veals — Climate scientist, exploring Utah's changing climate, winter snowfall, and the Great Salt Lake.
- Sara Baldwin — CEO of Utah Clean Energy, sharing perspectives on clean energy, environmental policy, and solutions.
- Annie | Salt Town Realty — Bringing the real estate perspective: what's happening in Salt Lake City's housing market today.
Plus, enjoy food, drinks, a silent auction featuring outdoor gear and other goodies, and an opportunity to learn about residential solar.
