Third Space: Blak Creatives is a fortnightly drop-in creative gathering space for First Nations artists, creatives and community during Darwin's build-up and wet season.
As the weather gets hotter and wetter and community events begin to slow down, opportunities for informal connection can become limited.
Third Space offers a cool, welcoming, and low-pressure place to gather, create, and connect. There is no set workshop or expectation to produce.
People can bring their own creative project, use the Wi-Fi, co-work, draw, paint, write, make music, use shared materials, yarn over tea, meet other creatives or simply spend time in creative community.
Each session may include a simple optional creative invitation, while keeping the space open and participant-led.
