Experience the premiere of There's a Ghost in Everything, a new immersive work from Third Rail Projects and co-artistic director Zach Morris. Blending dance, theater, storytelling, and song, this inviting production unfolds all around the audience, drawing guests into a village where it is always autumn and a festival honoring the community’s ghosts is underway. Along the way, audiences help performers weave together fragments of stories in real time, creating a deeply personal and shared theatrical experience.Internationally recognized for pioneering immersive and site-specific performance, Third Rail Projects has spent more than two decades placing audiences at the center of the storytelling experience. Their work has been praised as “haunting, hallucinatory, and profoundly intimate” by Vogue and “wildly imaginative” by The New Yorker.
Developed over the past two years with University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign faculty and students, the project was created through the Department of Theatre’s Daniel J. Sullivan Artists-in-Residence Program and the Anda New Works Theatre Production Endowment.
