In a world that begs us to pick a box to define ourselves, we exist outside of them. 

“If we don’t have solid roots, why do we bloom everywhere we go?”

The residency acts as a celebratory exploration of the children of immigrants, born between two worlds, carrying the culture of their lineage from inside the home while being raised in a world just beyond their parents' reach. They become a bridge between the two — a culture entirely their own.
Through portraiture and iconographic imagery, THIRD CULTURE KID exists to introduce this concept to a wider audience and recognize the roots that make us rich.
