We're pretty much having an event somewhere in Bayonne every day of the week. Friday is our Joe's Pizza event. We've probably been there forty times by now. We're like the furniture. Comfortable venue to get together, and have fun. The food is great. Reasonably priced. Feel free to join us. All skill levels, all ages can join in. Remember, the chess is free...the venues aren't. Please patronize them.
On Saturdays we have double event day. First, we head to OJ Macs for some chess is is large outside Tiki style back outside area. We're there from 1pm to 6pm. Then we head across the street to 'Mom and Pop Shop Collectibles at 185 Broadway from 6pm until 10pm. We have our 'Combo' all - in gaming event, where members can bring any game they want to play, or play whatever we have. The Clappsey family are excellent hosts. They're big into Yugi Oh for any players out there. But, we play anything.
On Sundays, it 'Chess In The Park.' We play at Morris Park on 48th and Broadway. It's the park next to the Americano. We're there from 1pm until players leave. If it rains...then we walk over to Joe's Pizza and can continue playing. Check our Facebook page to make sure outside events are a go. Weather will of course affect the schedule.
Monday evenings, we're at The Vic ..another Combo event. Tuesdays we're at Bruno's Pizzeria from 5pm to 10pm. That's mainly chess. Our chess players congregate at all the venues, but this is where the consistently strongest players tend to gather. The 25% off their delicious food doesn't hurt. :-)
Thursday evenings we're off.
Players can decide to meet at any of the venues we normally attend.

No one can say there is nothing to do in Bayonne. There is something to do almost every day. Build your mind, concentration, knowledge, have fun, meet people, and just chill. Plenty to do.
