About this Event
Join your fellow Janeites at Marymount Manhattan College on the afternoon of Saturday, April 18, for our spring meeting, Thinking Jane.
Like the majority of our regional meetings, this one is open to JASNA members and non-members alike. If you are not yet a JASNA member, however, we encourage you to join! Learn more on our "about" page here.
It will take place in the Regina Peruggi Room at Marymount Manhattan College, an ADA-accessible venue.
1:00 PM - REGISTRATION & RECEPTION | Regina Peruggi Room
Join us in the Regina Peruggi room for coffee/tea and sandwiches... and good conversation.
2:00 PM - PRESENTATIONS
Our speakers for this meeting will be Dr. Wendy Jones, author of Jane on the Brain: Exploring the Science of Social Intelligence with Jane Austen; and fiction writer Brandon Taylor, whose debut novel Real Life was shortlisted for the Booker Prize. 3:45 PM - REFRESHMENTS
Stick around for coffee/tea, sweets, and more good conversation!
Tea and light refreshments will be served.
