Course Aims:
To provide participants with an overview of denture modification and an insight into composite systems and stains available. To provide an overview of the Gradia Plus materials and kits to enable participants to promote and provide this service to clients. Also providing a step by step protocol for application of composites and stains to both analogue and digital dentures.
Course Objectives:
Each participant will be able to:
- Prepare a denture for application of gingival composite
- Fully understand the techniques used to apply gingival composite to a denture
- Add character to denture teeth using Optiglaze Color
- Be familiar with the different composite systems available
- Produce natural looking tissues using Gradia Plus pink composite and Optiglaze Color

About your trainer: Lisa Johnson
Lisa is a registered dental technician at Bespoke Ceramics in Birstall, West Yorkshire. Having qualified from Leeds Dental Institute Lisa has gained over 30 years’ experience in private dentistry, is considered one of the UK’s top aesthetic technicians, and has extensive experience of using Composites & Ceramics. As a Key Opinion Leader for GC Lisa regularly delivers courses in the UK and Europe during which she enjoys sharing her passion for beautiful aesthetics along with insights into the valuable lessons she has learnt whilst developing her skills and various techniques to enable her to deliver work of outstanding quality using GC’s Gradia Plus and Optiglaze Color.
Terms and Conditions:
Cancellations must be made at least 28 days before course date.
Refunds will be made at the discretion of GC UK Ltd. All external expenses incurred by GC UK will be deducted from any course fee refund together with a 10% cancellation charge. Refunds for bookings made less than 28 days prior to the scheduled course date are entirely at GC UK management discretion. Alternative attendance on a future course may also be offered.
Cancellation of a course directly by GC UK due to foreseen/unforeseen circumstances will be refundable at 100% of cost.
GC UK are unable to compensate out of pocket expenses incurred in the unlikely event a course is cancelled.
