How do penetration testers find weaknesses before attackers do?In this hands-on workshop, you will step into the role of a penetration tester and work through a realistic security assessment together with our cybersecurity experts.
You will explore a target environment, identify potential vulnerabilities, and learn how penetration testers approach systems, applications, and networks from an attacker’s perspective. With guided exercises and demo labs, you will see how to discover, validate, and document weaknesses in a controlled environment.
The session combines essential theory with practical exercises and active participation. No advanced cybersecurity knowledge is required.
Penetration testing is also part of the Cyber Security Specialist program, preparing you for the Swiss Federal Diploma (Professional Bachelor). The curriculum includes security advisory, pentesting and audits, network scanning, attack simulation, web application security, and hardening.
After the workshop, we will introduce the program and show how you can develop these practical skills further throughout the training.
There will also be time for your questions and informal networking with our team and other participants.
