We're delighted to bring you an event with Eleanor Bruce and Lucilla Gray to celebrate their brand new book, Things We Found in the Ground.
Cousins from opposite sides of the world, Ellie and Lucie grew up unaware that they shared a passion for history and the search for lost objects. Brought together by lockdown at their grandfather's home they picked up a metal detector and from then there was no stopping them!
They have plenty of stories to share about their detecting journey, the objects they've found and what those discoveries tell us about our ancestors. They've also promised to bring some of their finds!
This promises to be a fun and fascinating evening, especially given we live in such a rich archeological area.
