Thin The Herd VA is an aggressive metalcore / metallic hardcore band from Roanoke, Virginia, delivering a relentless sound built on crushing breakdowns, pissed-off energy, and uncompromising intensity. Their style pushes into hardcore punk, metalcore, and “pissedcore,” giving the band a raw, confrontational edge made for heavy rooms and chaotic live shows.
Featuring Elijah Ferguson, Caleb McClain, Levi Holmes, and John Francis, Thin The Herd VA has been building momentum with releases including Herd Mentality, “Drown Me Out,” “Avarice,” “Fester,” “Drained,” “Amputate,” and “Insubordinate,” the latter featuring Saltwound.
With touring activity across the East Coast and beyond, Thin The Herd VA continues to establish itself as a rising force in the underground heavy scene—violent, focused, and built to challenge the room from the first breakdown to the last.

157frq is a Michigan-based nu metal / nu-metalcore project delivering abrasive, emotionally charged heaviness with a modern edge. Built on raw aggression, bleak atmosphere, and lyrics that dig into isolation, anger, self-destruction, and survival, 157frq channels the grit of late-’90s and early-2000s heavy music through sharp contemporary production.
The project’s 2026 album A World I Was Never a Part Of showcases a crushing blend of metalcore intensity, nu-metal bounce, and vulnerable emotional weight. With tracks like “Spine,” “Hole,” “DRYSCOOP,” and “A World I Was Never a Part Of,” 157frq creates music that feels confrontational, cathartic, and unfiltered.
