About this Event
ABOUT THIS SERIES
You’ve been holding a lot… and still showing up like everything is fine. You are not the problem. The pressure is.
Therapeutically Crafted™ is a six-month, in-person creative wellness experience for women of color designed to explore how perfectionism shapes the way we create, connect, and show up in our lives.
Through hands-on crafting, reflective writing, and guided community conversation, each session creates space to build self-compassion, deepen emotional awareness, and develop a new relationship with expectations… your own and everyone else’s. This is not a class. This is not therapy. This is a community of women doing the slow, meaningful work of letting go of the pressure to be perfect… together.
You don’t have to come in ready.
You can come exactly as you are.

THE CRAFT & JOURNAL EXPERIENCE
This isn’t about being “good” at crafting. It’s about giving yourself permission to create without needing to get it right.
You’ll design a tote bag and bag charms while using guided journal prompts to explore what you’re ready to put down and what you want to carry forward.
There’s no pressure to make something perfect or share what you write. The experience is about slowing down, getting curious, and letting creativity help you notice what’s coming up.
- Yourself, exactly as you are
- A water bottle
- A journal
- Anything that helps you feel grounded — a cozy layer, your favorite pen, a small comfort item.
