Truth and Wisdom are timeless. When we explore beyond the outer forms into the realms of esotericism and mysticism, we discover that many belief systems share key elements. In modern times, this Golden Thread has been variously known as the Prisca Theologia and Perennial Philosophy. In this presentation, we will follow this thread through the ancient initiatic mystery schools, Pythagoreanism, Neoplatonism, the Western Mysteries, Eastern religions, and today’s Theosophy (Theos-Sophia).

Esotericism, occultism, and Eastern religion were largely introduced and popularized in Western culture by the Theosophical Society (Est. 1875) and Theosophy has stood to influence and inspire many spiritual figures, organizations, and movements ever since. In this series of talks, Noy will take us inside the Theosophical Society and detail some of the fundamental teachings of Theosophy.
