THEOCRACY (USA)For many of us, heavy metal is both a philosophy and a conviction. The sheer power and epic grandeur of a genuine metal album can move mountains and give us the will to face another day. For many of us, heavy metal is also a sanctuary – a home. Matt Smith knows this feeling all too well. For over twenty years, the guitarist – who evolved into a vocalist – has poured his heart and soul into Theocracy.
And successfully so; over the years, Theocracy has become a well-known name in Europe. With “Mosaic”, the five-piece band has delivered its most compelling work to date, ranging from triumphant power metal to progressive craftsmanship. It is a gem that casts a ray of light on everything around it.
On their fifth album, “Mosaic”, Theocracy once again brings together sweeping melodies, thunderous riffs, and catchy choruses. Fans of Stratovarius, Sonata Arctica, and Symphony-X will love it. With the "Grand Mosaic Tour 2027”, they promise fans an evening filled with superb epic songs and powerful, convincing metal. Theocracy brings us home!
SUNBURST (GR)
The Greek progressive metal band led by guitarist Gus Drax (ex-Suicidal Angels) is making waves in the metal scene, yet they have played relatively few live shows to date. The “Grand Mosaic Tour 2027” is set to change that. Sunburst will join Theocracy as special guests, treating fans with hits from their two successful albums, “Fragments of Creation” and “Manifesto”.
Aardschok magazine has previously recognized Sunburst with a spot in its "10x Eremetaal" feature, highlighting their blend of accessible prog-metal and the warm, soaring vocals of Vasilis Georgiou. Fans of Dream Theater, Evergrey, or Kamelot are sure to appreciate their sound.
