Maybe you’ve had this happen.
You go somewhere without expecting much. You start talking to someone. The conversation goes longer than you thought it would. At some point, you realise you’ve stopped looking around the room.
Later, when somebody asks how you met, the story begins:
“Then we met…”
That’s the evening we want to create.
On Friday, 13 November, around 50 people will come together in Warsaw for the first edition of THEN WE MET.
Not to race through as many conversations as possible.
To give a good conversation enough time to become something.
You’ll arrive, settle in and meet people gradually. Some introductions will be playful. Some conversations will go deeper. As the evening opens up, you can return to someone you liked, meet somebody new or simply stay where the conversation is good.
There is structure behind the scenes, but it shouldn’t feel like a dating event running on a stopwatch.
It should feel like a genuinely good night out where meeting someone happens naturally.
THE ROOM MATTERS
Everyone applies before receiving a ticket link.
We’re doing that because the people in the room shape the whole evening.
We’re looking for people who are open to meeting someone, curious about others and able to make the person across from them feel comfortable.
You don’t need the perfect career, Instagram or dating profile.
You just need to show up as yourself.
IF YOU LIKE SOMEONE
During the evening, you’ll have a private way to tell us who you’d like to see again.
If the interest is mutual, you’ll both find out afterwards.
No pressure to collect numbers. No awkward guessing.
The night can stay about the conversation.
LANGUAGE
The evening is hosted in English.
Your conversations can happen in any language you both speak.
