About this Event
Improv: improv, is a form of live theatre where everything is made up on the spot. Think of shows like, "Whose Line Is It Anyway." Improv is spontaneous, entertaining, and fun. (grades K-12)
Acting: students will learn the same acting techniques that the professional performers use when preparing for a role. They will then use those skills to memorize small pieces of dialogue from published plays. (grades K-12)
Musical Theater: students will be tasked with memorizing small pieces of dialogue and musical dance numbers from their favorite Disney/Pixar movie. (grades K-6)
Playwriting/Storytelling: students in grades 7th-8th will learn playwriting concepts; like the Hero’s Journey to craft an original play.
The weekly 10-week sessions end in a performance showcase for family and friends to enjoy
