The Zaddy Experience is a curated rooftop affair created for grown women and gentlemen who appreciate good music, great drinks, effortless style, real conversation and being around people who know how to enjoy themselves.

And ladies, we're giving you a little extra reason to make your way to the rooftop.

Members of the Divine 9 and Prince Hall Masonic Family will be in the building, joining us for an evening celebrating music, culture, community and grown connections.

But understand what we're creating here:

This is NOT an awkward singles mixer.

No speed dating. No name tags. No forced introductions. No standing around wondering what you're supposed to do next.

Instead, we're creating the kind of environment where meeting someone can happen the way it used to — naturally.

Bring your girlfriends. Order your favorite cocktail. Enjoy the music. Dance. Laugh. Have a conversation with somebody new.

And if a little chemistry happens somewhere along the way?

Well… we won't get in the way. 😉

When Mary J. gave us the soundtrack to our relationships. When Jodeci came on and everybody knew what time it was. When New Edition, SWV, TLC, A Tribe Called Quest, Nas, Biggie and the artists of that era weren't “throwbacks” — they were what we were actually listening to.

That's the feeling we're bringing back.

DJ B Sharp will be behind the decks, spinning the best in 90s & 2000s Hip-Hop & R&B, creating the soundtrack for a rooftop full of grown people who actually remember when these records were new.

Come ready to sing along.

Come ready to move.

And don't be surprised if one song brings back a memory you haven't thought about in years.

We're bringing The Zaddy Experience to Hip Flask Rooftop Bar in downtown Bethesda — cocktails, music, conversation and rooftop views all in one setting.

And we're intentionally keeping this experience curated and intimate.

The goal isn't to cram hundreds of people into a room.

We want enough people to create energy, while still giving you enough space to talk, laugh, flirt, dance and actually enjoy the people around you.

Good music.

Great drinks.

Grown people.

Women's attendance is being managed separately as part of our effort to maintain a thoughtfully curated experience.

Because of that, women's tickets are limited.

Once the women's ticket allocation has been reached, additional tickets are not guaranteed to be released.

For guests who plan to remain in downtown Bethesda after the event, this is another nearby option. Montgomery County lists its Saturday paid-parking period through 10 PM at $1.50 per hour.

Rideshare is also encouraged if you'd rather pull up, head upstairs and not think about your car again until it's time to go home.

Parking availability, rates and operating conditions are controlled by the individual facilities and are subject to change.
