The Work Beneath | Our Story, Our Purpose & How to Share Yours
Join us for a special conversation exploring how the series began, what we have learned during our first year and where we hope to go next. We will talk about why these conversations matter, how we pair and support participating creatives, what goes into sharing your own journey and how our new stewardship is helping shape the future of the series.
At the heart of The Work Beneath is the belief that our creative practices may look very different, but the experiences beneath them often connect us. Across disciplines, generations, backgrounds and stages of creative life, we encounter similar joys, struggles, questions, obstacles and discoveries.
Together, we will explore how sharing these experiences can help break down silos between creative communities and create spaces where people feel heard, seen and connected.
Whether you have join us before, are curious about participating in a future talk, or are discovering The Work Beneath for the first time, you are welcome to join the conversation.

About the Series
The Work Beneath | Artist Talk Series is a community-centered conversation series created to foster honest dialogue around creativity, identity, vulnerability, process, and the human experiences that exist beneath artistic practice.
Rather than focusing solely on finished work or professional success, the series creates space for artists and community members to openly discuss the emotional, personal, and often unseen realities connected to creative life.
