Bringing a sensational line up to Fell Foot Wood (Ulverston, Cumbria) for the first time, this is a natural progression for Road To Masochist. The event will take place in May 2027 when the spring has swept through the trees and the woodland becomes vibrant and rejuvenated. To attend to Nature’s powers, we bring you two days of intensely great music. Friday 7th May will be a day dedicated to post-metal, atmospheric metal and more! Headliners BA’AL need no introductions as they have established themselves firmly at the peak of the UK blackened post-metal tree - especially following the release of their most recent and critically acclaimed album ‘THE FINE LINE BETWEEN HEAVEN AND HERE’ (Road To Masochist). Main support comes from one of Scotland’s most intense and absorbing acts, the gripping CODESPEAKER. Also appearing will be Cairns, Mrs Frighthouse and Dungeon, plus one more band to be announced.
Saturday 8th May turns somewhat more hefty. Headliners MASTIFF are a well-known and widely admired force at the top of the blackened sludge/hardcore game, and come on the back of their recent ep ‘FOR ALL THE DEAD DREAMS’ that was released via Church Road Records. Main support comes from death metal favourites Foetal Juice. Also appearing will be Bile Caster, Cattle Hammer, Ulfarr, Tomb Slab, Repulsive Vision and Shrykull.
The woodland is managed by Barry Houghton who has not only run many, many events over the years, but also delivers some mysterious and extremely unique occurrences throughout. To find out more, you need to be an attendee. Barry is the guardian of Fell Foot and we shall all be his guests.
Tickets for this unique event will be sold in two waves. The first run will be limited in numbers and priced at only £80 for the full weekend including camping. The main release will be at £100 for the whole weekend including camping. Please be advised that ticket numbers are fairly low as this is a smaller capacity venue. When they are gone, they are gone.
Camping runs from Friday 12pm until Sunday 12pm. For those of you who may not know the site, this is a conservation area and the terrain is more rugged than your usual festival experience. There are camping facilities available (including a toilet and washing block) and more information will be provided so that you are fully equipped if you choose to attend.
