🌿✨ Winter Solstice Gathering — December 20 ✨🌿A Day of Light, Creation, and Community at The Golden Thread Sanctuary
As the longest night approaches, we gather to honour the sacred turning — the moment when darkness begins to yield once more to light.
This is a day for remembering, creating, and celebrating the beauty of the season and the resilience of the human spirit.
Throughout the day and evening, our Sanctuary will be alive with offerings from community healers, artists, and heart‑centred beings with workshops and sessions for you to create, move, breathe, and transform:
🌸 Movement classes & somatic dance
🌬️ Breathwork & meditation
🕯️ Solstice artwork & jewellery making
🪶 Poetry & spoken word sharing
🌿 Aromatherapy & seasonal rituals
Seasonal fruits, teas, and nourishing snacks will be available as we weave together warmth, creativity, and connection.
Each session is offered by karma donation — a beautiful exchange of energy between participant and practitioner, whether $1 or $20. This Karma exchange creates space for you to attend 1 or attend all the offerings throughout the day as you feel called.
This gathering is about the Solstice — the shifting into the season of light once again, the honouring of the dark, the dragonfly emerging from the waters, the remembrance of our shared sacredness.
A full schedule of offerings will be announced soon.
You are warmly invited to join us in this circle of light and belonging.
