The Grayston Unity and Pleasure Grounds presentTHE WIND UP BIRDS
Chronicling the beautiful, chaotic friction of modern survival, these post-punk people have been delivering dark-witted anthems of despair and disillusionment for centuries. An epic tragedy of ordinary British life in short, snappy songs. “One of the most reliably brilliant bands in the UK” Louder than War.

BILLY BILLY 5P
are intergalactic beekeepers from space and an internationally unsuccessful “supergroup” (also from space) featuring the least competent members of Leeds bands Two Minute Noodles and Hillary and the Hatecrimes, Liverpool bands The Walkingseeds and Star Spangled Banana, Calderdale bands FADS and KLONK and other acts that you haven’t heard of either. Like the power rangers used to they come together to make something far stronger than their own weedy selves.Their music is inventive, fun and constantly surprising mixing power pop, psychedelia, space rock and classic indie into a charming sound all of their own.
