About this Event
One River. One Wild Day. One Proper Adventure.
Forget the everyday and discover a different side of Northumberland.
Join Alexander Adventures for a fantastic day exploring the beautiful Upper North Tyne by open canoe, travelling from Bellingham to Wark through one of the region's most peaceful and unspoilt river valleys.
Think quiet woodland, gentle rapids, autumn colours, wildlife and the smell of freshly brewed coffee drifting across the river.
And halfway through? We'll pull the canoes onto the riverbank, get the cooking equipment out and prepare a proper hot, two-course lunch.
This isn't a race or a survival challenge. It's about slowing down, enjoying the outdoors, meeting new people and experiencing a little wilderness adventure right here in the North East.
Best of all, you don't need any previous canoeing experience.
