Come create a layered mixed-media canvas that gives space to both.In this therapist-led therapeutic art experience, led by New Rhythms counselors Katie Monts and Melanie Woods, we’ll start with a messy, expressive “rage layer” using paint, words, textures, and whatever feels right. Then, we’ll build over it with color, beauty, joy, and meaning, while allowing pieces of what’s underneath to remain visible.
Through guided reflection and creative expression, you'll have space to explore the different layers of your own experiences while creating a one-of-a-kind piece of art to take home.
No art skills needed. Just come ready to make something that feels like yours.
