Home of the “World’s Best Single Malt 2022”, The Lakes Distillery have developed a reputation for pushing boundaries in pursuit of flavour creation. Taking inspiration from the cellarmasters of Cognac, they practise the art of élevage, creating intriguing layers of flavour in their exceptional single malts.
Global Ambassador for the Distillery, Chris Dennis, will be your guide for the evening as you taste for yourself how meticulously selected casks and bespoke maturation combine to create exceptionally complex, rich and balanced whiskies.

About the Producer
Founded in 2011 and opened in 2014, The Lakes Distillery occupies a converted 160-year-old dairy farm five miles north-west of Keswick in the Lake District. From the beginning their approach has been to push boundaries, while continuing to respect the conventions of whisky’s rich heritage. In particular, they have adopted the practice of élevage – an active commitment to conducting the interplay between spirit, oak and air throughout the ageing process. By changing the location and climate of maturing casks, moving whisky between cask types, and blending whisky from different casks, they layer flavours and create complexity at every stage.

Tickets are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, please notify us as soon as possible.
Cancellations up to 24 hours before the event: Tickets can be transferred to another tasting at the same store or used as store credit, valid for 3 months.
Cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows: Tickets are non-convertible.
