About this Event

Witches! Book-lovers! Have you been looking for a reason to spend more time reading books?

Good news!

Come join our new book club focusing on witchy reads. Discuss the attributes, lessons, and stories recorded in a range of titles related to witchcraft, Paganism, New Age, parapsychology, and other magical goodness.

(For the time being, this club will focus on non-fiction books. If there's interest, we will either alternate between non-fiction witch books and witchy fiction books, or create a sister group that focuses on fiction.)

For April, our featured title will be: Becoming Baba Yaga by Kris Spisak

This book is a journey alongside Baba Yaga, through history and folklore and pop culture. Spisak explores how Baba Yaga, a shape-shifting trickster and powerful magic user and symbol of the wilds, has transformed over the generations, and also how she touches on the lives of the modern magical practitioner.

The book is also available in paperback via Indigo and Amazon, as an e-book for Kobo and Kindle readers, and as an audiobook on Kobo and Audible.

So get your read on, and come join us ready to chat about magic! (We'll also have tea and snacks!)
