The Weird Variety Show Fights Fascism
Welcome to the Weird Variety Show, a jubilant, joy fueled explosion of neurodivergence, creativity, and community. This is not just a show. It is a rare and electric gathering. A safe, sparkly room where being quirky is a superpower, difference is celebrated, and all brains are welcome exactly as they are.
The night is curated and orchestrated by Toby Dixon, who acts as part host, part conductor, part benevolent chaos gremlin. Toby doesn’t just book acts, he weaves them together. He creates a space where first timers share the stage with seasoned performers, where laughter collides with vulnerability, and where the unexpected becomes the point.
Through comedy, music, storytelling, and glorious weirdness, Toby guides the room like a spiritual clown maestro, holding just enough structure to let the madness bloom. The result is a one of a kind night that feels alive, communal, and impossible to recreate.
About This Show: Fighting Fascism
This night is an act of resistance wrapped in glitter. Fascism feeds on fear, silence, and sameness. We are here to meet it with joy, laughter, and radical togetherness.
Fighting fascism does not always look like shouting in the streets. Sometimes it looks like joy. Sometimes it looks like refusing to be flattened. Sometimes it looks like a room full of weirdos saying, you belong, you matter, you are not alone.
This is a spiritual clown uprising. Art, humor, disability, tenderness, rage, and play are not distractions from the fight. They are the fight. Every laugh is rebellion. Every vulnerable story cracks the armor.
Come be strange with us. Come be loud. Come be gentle. Come be ungovernable in the most human way possible.
This is joy as defiance.
This is weirdness as wisdom.
This is love with teeth.
