Dear friends,We're excited and moved to invite you to The Weight of Thread, a new dance work we co-choreographed, premiering April 17–18 at 8pm both nights at Dance Mission Theater.

This piece has been over a year in the making. Rooted in Jewish mourning, supplication, and resistance traditions, it’s a dance ritual created in solidarity with Palestinian liberation. Through dance, live music, poetry, and collective ritual, we grapple with grief, rupture, and responsibility—while affirming Judaism’s humanitarian, anti-genocidal values.
The work grew out of intimate Jewish and Jewish–Palestinian community gatherings over the past ten months, and bringing it into the theater feels both vulnerable and urgent.
Because the theater is small and we expect performances to fill quickly, I encourage you to reserve tickets soon if you’d like to come.
