What if the local church really believed it was building something that would outlast empires?The Weight of Glory is a two-day regional conference on theology, culture, and the renewal of Christian civilization, hosted by Evangelical Reformed Church on October 30–31, 2026.
Over the course of a weekend, four speakers will take on the questions many of our churches are already wrestling with — what faithful, local, generation-by-generation Christian witness actually looks like; how the Reformers understood men, women, and household order; what the civil magistrate owes to true religion; and how beauty, culture, and the American founding fit into the picture:
🎙 Dr. Glenn Sunshine — Historian & Theologian
🎙 Pastor Zach Garris — Author, Masculine Christianity
🎙 Pastor Rich Hamlin — Evangelical Reformed Church
🎙 Dr. John West — Discovery Institute
The weekend opens Friday evening with a reception and keynote, followed by a live podcast recording. Saturday brings five teaching sessions, lunch, and a closing Q&A panel with all four speakers. Two sessions will be recorded live for release on the Equipping the Saints Podcast and the Theology Pugcast.
