It's time to get together again! The next meeting of the Weaving Circle at Clitterhouse Farm is on Saturdyay 5 September, 11-13h.
What is pine needle weaving?
Pine needle baskets are handcrafted from the long, flexible needles of pine trees. This is an ancient craft, each piece is stitched by hand, reflecting the creativity of the maker.
Our group meets monthly, newcomers can learn basic techniques and those that are already familiar with pine needles weaving can learn new stitches, and experiment with new designs.
The pine needles and all other materials are provided. I will bring everything you need to make a bangle. If this is not your 'cup of tea', then you can work on a wall hanging or basket, as you like!
You have the option of registering for a 'one-off' session (£26), or register for 3 sessions and get a discount (£50/3). We will continue in September after the summer break.
