Join us at Bond Street Gallery to celebrate the opening of The Warp and the Weft, an exhibition bringing together a diverse group of Sussex artists and makers.
The exhibition explores the things that shape our creative lives: the materials we work with, the places we inhabit, the histories we carry and the choices we make along the way. What is inherited or given, and what can we change, challenge or make our own?
Across a range of disciplines, the artists in The Warp and the Weft explore the relationship between structure and spontaneity, tradition and experimentation, connection and change. Each work begins somewhere, but what emerges is often unexpected.
Come along, meet the artists, discover the work and join us for an evening of art, conversation and a chance to see how these different threads come together.
