About this Event
Why are we still waiting?
The line isn't the problem. The process is.
Airports, banks, hospitals, border crossings, recycling centers — the line-ups look different, but the cause is the same. In this half-day, hands-on course you will learn Lean the way Toyota built it — as a house, not a toolbox — and then play the Just-in-Time pillar live on a LEGO® table: trucks, doors, loaders and a big stopwatch. Four rounds. Same people every round. Only the method changes — and the line-up shrinks.
THIS IS A GAME, NOT A LECTURE.
Built on a true case study from a public recycling center.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
Lean in plain words — value, the 8 wastes and the 5 Lean principles - The House of Toyota — the roof, the two pillars (Just-in-Time and Jidoka) and the foundation -
Main foucs on Just-in-Time — takt time, flow, pull, cycle time, lead time, wait time, bottlenecks, changeover and load balancing - Learning to see — timing work with a stopwatch and finding the hidden waiting
