The Voice Collective: RESONANCE

When We Are Heard
About this event

Our stories don’t end with us. They echo into the lives of others.

The Voice Collective returns October 10 for RESONANCE: When We Are Heard — an immersive evening of personal storytelling, live music, reflection, connection, and community.

This is not simply a panel.

It’s not simply a concert.

And it’s not an event where you sit, listen, and go home.

It’s an experience you participate in.

RESONANCE will unfold in three acts:

THE FIRST NOTE

Every story begins with a child who had dreams, wonder, and hope.

THE ECHO

Our stories don’t end with us. They echo into the lives of others.

THE RESONANCE

What happens when we choose to use our voices.

Throughout the evening, you’ll hear deeply personal stories exploring recovery, self-worth, family, breaking cycles, fatherhood, healing, belonging, and what becomes possible when people finally feel safe enough to be heard.

Hosted by

Jessica Ferguson

Featured speakers

Heather Bennett — Worth
A story about body image, self-worth, relationships, healing, and learning to finally choose yourself.

Hilary Lay — Redemption
A story of childhood trauma, addiction, recovery, motherhood, spirituality, breaking cycles, and finding your way back.

Carrie Eaton — Beginning Again
A story about growing up with an undiagnosed bipolar parent, the ripple effects that followed, and the courage to rebuild a life that feels aligned and truly your own.

Adam Miles — #MeTooDads
A conversation about fatherhood, unhealed wounds, what happens when we cannot protect the people we love from everything, and the responsibility men have to help girls feel seen, supported, and empowered.

Live music

Ellee Duke
Pat & Maren Swenson

The evening will also include a closing reflection from Amber Washington, founder of The Voice Collective and author of (W)hole: My Journey to W.

Dear Little Me ❤️

One of the interactive experiences at RESONANCE will invite you to reconnect with the child you once were.

Before the event, find a favorite childhood photo and save it to your phone.

You’ll have an opportunity to write a private Dear Little Me letter to take home and contribute Little You to a growing Voice Collective installation.

Bring someone.

Bring your sister.

Your best friend.

Your partner.

Your dad.

Bring someone you want sitting beside you for an evening of stories, music, healing, hope, and connection.

Because that is how resonance begins.

One person hears something.

Shares it with someone else.

And the ripple keeps moving.

Previous Voice Collective events have sold out, and seating for RESONANCE will be limited.
