About DJ I.C.DRÉ:
A fixture of the Champaign-Urbana nightlife scene since 2013, DJ I.C.DRÉ brings more than three decades behind the decks and a musical résumé that extends well beyond Central Illinois.
After winning a DJ battle in Chicago, Dré was recruited to tour with hip-hop artist Twista, spending five years on the road while also working in music production. His career has also put him alongside artists including Run-DMC.
His open-format approach draws from hip-hop, R&B, reggae, Afrobeats, funk, soul, house and beyond. After spending time living and working in Seattle, Dré developed a deeper appreciation for reggae and Afrobeats and intentionally brought those sounds into his sets—a musical range that remains part of his style today.
