Creativity has value, but talent alone does not build a sustainable creative career.
The Value of Creativity is an interactive evening created for artists, designers, photographers, filmmakers, content creators, entrepreneurs, and other creative professionals who want to better understand the business behind their work.
Through a practical workshop and honest panel conversation, we’ll explore how creatives can recognize the value behind what they produce, communicate that value clearly, and build opportunities around their work without diminishing their originality or purpose.
The conversation will address:
• Pricing and positioning creative work
• Visibility and audience development
• Ownership and protecting your value
• Collaboration and creating new opportunities
• Building sustainable revenue from creative work
• Navigating the realities of creativity and entrepreneurship
FEATURED CREATIVE VOICES
The experience will feature Brian Hardy, J “Slim” Creative of The Slim Creative, and additional creative voices sharing real perspectives on the business, value, and sustainability of creative work.
THE CREATIVE KICKBACK
After the workshop and panel, the evening shifts into the Creative Kickback—an opportunity to connect with other creatives, entrepreneurs, and potential collaborators in a relaxed atmosphere with a DJ, food, and networking.
This is more than a panel. It is a space to learn, connect, exchange ideas, and build relationships with people who understand that creativity is both expression and economic opportunity.
