New Hampshire author Avree Kelly Clark visits the NH Historical Society to share her introductory presentation into unmasking H. H. Holmes, a man born Herman Webster Mudgett in the spring of 1861 in Gilmanton, NH, who would go on to become one of the nineteenth-century’s most infamous killers. Her latest book, All Manner of Evil, follows the narrative investigation into the case in the tradition of her award-winning debut novel, Malice Aforethought, about a horrifying murder in Pembroke, NH, in the autumn of 1875. This event is open to the public and is free for New Hampshire Historical Society members, $10 for nonmembers. No registration required.
