May Session #1
This Treecreepers session will be at Cammo Estate where we will see what we can spot in the woodland, fields and waterways.
Every experience level welcome! The session structure and flow will be shaped by everyone to facillitate knowledge sharing and community. This group is for people aged 18-35 only. No dogs except guide & assistance dogs.
We will meet outside the Leaf & Bean truck at 1pm. What3Words location:
Wear appropriate clothes and footwear for the weather forecast. If you have binoculars, ID books or anything else you think you may want, please do bring along. There are refreshments at the Leaf & Bean Cafe and there should be toilets at the start of our walk in the visitor centre, however sometimes they can be shut unexpectedly. Please arrive a bit early if you want to purchase anything before the walk.

Pricing:
I am just one person running and organising this group so, in order for this to be sustainable long term for me, I charge a small fee per session. This covers my time with any excess income reinvested in the group. Pricing is as follows:
- Supporter Rate: £8. For those who have more than enough to comfortably meet their needs and non-essentials. This will help make the sessions accessible to others and supports my work.
- Standard Rate: £5. For those who can cover their needs with some extra for non-essentials.
- Accessible Rate: £3. For those who struggle to afford anything beyond basic necessities(e.g. on benefits or unemployed).
No questions asked, choose what works for you. Your presence matters most!
Want to pay in Cash?
Eventbrite adds a service fee to all tickets. To avoid this extra cost I am happy to take cash in person at the beginning of the session. Please email [email protected] to register for a space in advance.
**If you are emailing to book, your initial email must contain your first and last name and the rate you want to pay to ensure your place.**
Refund Policy
Eventbrite: If you pay via Eventbrite and cancel before the refund period of 2 days (48 hours) you will receive an automatic refund. If you cancel after the refund period you will only receive a refund if I am able to resell the ticket to someone else. No refund includes fees paid to Eventbrite.
Cash: If you agree to pay via cash and cancel before the refund period of 2 days (48 hours) you will not be required to pay. If you cancel after the refund period and I am able to resell your ticket to someone else, you will not be required to pay. If I am not able to resell your ticket then I will email you an invoice to pay which may require you to pay fees. An invoice is a legally binding document.
Accessibility:
The majority of the walk will take place on grass and mud tracks with some paved paths. There are some hilly sections but nothing too steep. I will endeavour to make our route, pace and distance accessible to all attendees where possible.
The bus numbers 31, 32, 43, 47, 47B, X47 and X99 all stop between 10-20 minutes walk away. There are bicycle racks outside the visitor centre.
