Rather than presenting tarot solely as fortune telling, The Torah in the Tarot explores the cards as a visual language shaped by archetype, narrative, reflection, and meaning-making. Visitors are invited to engage with layered interpretations and consider how enduring systems of belief and knowledge can shape visual culture in subtle and profound ways.
The exhibition features the 22 Major Arcana of the Noblet Tarot de Marseille alongside guided explorations of embedded Judaic references and historical context.
A second featured program will take place on Sunday, June 21 from 1–6 PM. Guided by artist Stav Appel, the ticketed event offers a hands-on illuminating evening of interactive exploration and guided study, exploring symbolism and hidden meanings within tarot traditions.
Light refreshments will be available.
