Written by Kirsten ChildsInspired by Alexandre Dumas
All for one, and one for all, but not quite the way you remember it.
In this bold and exhilarating adaptation, playwright Kirsten Childs brings Alexandre Dumas himself into the story, reimagining the classic adventure through the eyes of the man who created it – the Black son of a Black French Revolutionary War general.
Swordplay collides with hip-hop. Verse and vernacular co-mingle. Courage, loyalty, intrigue, and honor are still the spine of the tale - but the sound, and the spirit are something audiences haven't seen before.
This is not your standard Three Musketeers. It is raucous, theatrical, and unapologetically alive - a classic romantic adventure reclaimed as a joyful masterwork, and a reminder that the stories we think we know can still surprise us.
Familiar heroes take on new life.
For audiences ages 12+ only. No babes in arms.
