The Therapy Room returns to Airdrie for another night full of laughs with a brilliant line-up of comedians.
Ray Bradshaw is an international, multi award-winning stand-up comedian who has sold out shows globally. Ray was handpicked to support John Bishop on his recent UK arena tour and has previously supported Frankie Boyle on his last two tours. His own previous three tour shows have been performed in both English and British Sign Language; the first, Deaf Comedy Fam, was a huge success and won awards both in the UK and Australia, leading Ray to become the first comedian ever to win a Scottish Culture Show Award. His most recent show Deaf Com One did a 60 date tour in the Uk, Australia and New Zealand and resulted in nearly 800 deaf audience members coming to their first ever stand up show.
Jack Brookmyre is Scottish comedy’s up-and-coming impressionist, known for his impeccable accents and voices, as well as his blend of absurd and observational comedy. Jack has made frequent weekend appearances at The Stand in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Newcastle, performed at several weekends at The Glee and has won Just One More Gong in Glasgow, Beat the Blackout in London and Beat the Frog in Manchester. Jack’s mimicry knows no bounds as his quick wit flows from town planning to the history of populism in performances that showcase the damage.
Leicester Square New Comedian finalist and Sir Billy Connolly Spirit of Glasgow Award nominee Alan Jay has quickly become one of Scotland’s most celebrated up-and-comers. Known for his sharp writing, non-stop punchlines, and treating no subject as too much, he’ll have you (un)buckled and bent over from laughter in no time!
Kenny Sinclair has performed at comedy clubs across the UK including The Stand Comedy Clubs, Glee Comedy Club, Breakneck Comedy Club, Hot Water Comedy Club, The Attic Comedy Club, The Comedy Cellar and The Monkey Barrel. He has been described as wildly relatable and likable with a presence that captivates the audience. He has routines about the trials and tribulations of having two sons, adapting to life in the suburbs, fighting middle age and how he feels the world of technology is moving on without him, as well as observations on current affairs that make his stories fresh and relatable.
