To keep this event safe, enjoyable, and comfortable for everyone, please follow these guidelines:
🐾 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗹-𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗱𝗼𝗴𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆. Dogs must be comfortable around other dogs and people and able to remain under control in a group setting.
🐾 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀. No off-leash dogs, retractable (Flexi) leashes, or leashes longer than 6 feet.
🐾 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲. Not every dog wants to greet or interact with others! Please ask permission before allowing your dog to approach another dog.
🐾 𝗡𝗼 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀. This is a group walk, not a doggy playdate. Dogs do not need to interact with each other to participate.
🐾 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗹𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗱𝗼𝗴. Handlers must be physically capable of controlling their dogs throughout the walk.
🐾 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝘂𝗽 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗼𝗴. Please bring waste bags and help keep our beautiful parks clean!
🐾 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿! Make sure you have drinking water for yourself and your pup.
🐾 𝗕𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀. We'll be sharing the trails with hikers, cyclists, families, and other park visitors. Please be courteous and keep pathways clear.
🐾 𝗗𝗼𝗴𝘀 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝘆. Please leave dogs showing signs of contagious illness at home.
🐾 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗼𝗴'𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘀. We'll maintain a comfortable walking pace, and you're welcome to take breaks or turn back whenever needed.
❤️ 𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗶𝘇𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲! You don't need to be involved in dog sports or working toward an AKC title to join us.
🦃 ✨ 𝐴𝐾𝐶 𝐹𝐼𝑇 𝐷𝑂𝐺 𝑇𝑢𝑟𝑘𝑒𝑦 𝑇𝑟𝑜𝑡! ✨ 🦃
