On behalf of the Edmond Community Chorale (ECC) and the Heartland Orchestra, we cordially invite you to join us for a special concert honoring our nation’s veterans as we celebrate 250 Years of American Music. We are excited to join forces with the Heartland Orchestra for an unforgettable evening honoring our nation’s veterans—a tribute to the sacrifice, enduring resolve, and steadfast commitment that safeguard our liberty. The concert features ECC’s performance of Randall Thompson’s monumental work The Testament of Freedom alongside majestic patriotic selections from the Heartland Orchestra. Set to the words of Thomas Jefferson, Thompson uses robust, driving rhythms and direct, speech-like melodies to deliver a message of hope, unity, and resilience to a country in crisis amidst the turmoil of World War II.The concert will be held Tuesday, November 10, 2026, 7:00 p.m., at Southern Hills Christian Church, Edmond (3207 S. Blvd, Edmond, OK 73013). Admission is free.
